Zusammenfassung
Dieses Design zeigte eine weibliche Figur mit einem Kranz aus Weizen und Lorbeer und wurde von Crawford wie folgt beschrieben: "Triumphierende Freiheit - in Frieden und Krieg".
Als er jedoch die Zeichnung für den Capitol Dome sah, erkannte Crawford, dass seine Statue größer sein und auf einem prominenteren Sockel stehen musste.
