Napa, CA, September 9, 2014 ; Books scatter the floor of the historic Romanesque Goodman Library building in the City of Napa, California, which was struck by a 6.0 earthquake at 3:20 a.m. on August 24, 2014. The Goodman Library was donated to the City of Napa by philanthropist George Goodman in 1901 and is the longest continually operating library in the State of California. The building was seismically stabilized and retrofitted with assistance from FEMA in 2004-2005. Petty Officer 1st Class Walid Mansour (left), originally from Orlando, Fla., and Petty Officer 1st Class Mark Dillon, originally from Dewar, Okla., prepare library books for disposal at Cummings Elementary here as part of a CPO 365 community service project. The project was hosted by the Misawa Chief Petty Officer Association and is part of the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy's CPO 365 initiative. The program provides CPO mentorship to first class petty officers, while also introducing greater aspects of senior enlisted leadership, responsibility and accountability.
